Jon McKeown is an experienced filmmaker from Pittsburgh, PA known for his keen sense of humor, his do all attitude on a film set, and his innate ability to get lost in the wilderness on vision quests.
Having worked for Batpack studios during and after film school, Jon has had the opportunity to work on a number of projects for both live performances & video production. After graduating Jon moved on to working for larger Hollywood productions films such as Unstoppable, Blue Valentine, A New York Heartbeat, The Dark Knight Rises and American Idol.
Jon’s greatest asset might also be his downfall – curiosity. While Jon shared Production & Cinematographer duties on For Aaron: The Documentary he was almost eaten by rabid wolves in the Mojave Desert…thank God for Kung Fu…Jon survived to vision quest another day.”
